7-10 July 2011 was the 6th annual Polish retreat in Sokołowsku, Poland near the Polish-Czech border. The theme was “The Christian Battle” based on Ephesians 6:10-20. Our speakers were Mirek Bartczak (Wrocław), Szczepan Czerski (Wrocław), Robert Nowik (Gdańsk) and Jarek Ciesielski (Radom). We heard topics such as: The reality of daily struggle, Winning the battle by preparing for a fight (the source of our strength), Winning the battle by knowing the enemy (Satan and his allies) and How to win the battle by having the right tools to fight. There were 26 people representing the 4 Polish congregations.
